Basically, we stay at teahouses. These days’ teahouses have been upgraded than before. Teahouse owner expects your stay when they serve the meal. They may not accommodate you if you don’t have meals in the same tea house.As the number of trekkers and the frequency of the visitors have increased; the teahouses are of a good standard.

What to eat during Langtang Valley trek?

Basically, the locals serve Dal (pulses), Bhat (rice), and Tarkari (curry), which is favourite and common among Nepalese people. From the view point of health also, it is best option as they serve the locally produced items. Noodles are also available on the teahouse. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian both are available. However, from the view point of hygienic it is better to consume vegetarian dishes.

Annapurna Circuit Trek

The high point of Annapurna Circuit Trek entails crossing of the 5414 m high Throng Pass, from the arid valley of the upper Manang, home of Tibetan- Buddhists, down to the Hindu pilgrimage site of Muktinath, and the Kali Gandaki valley, the deepest gorge, before heading down to Pokhara. Annapurna Circuit trek starts right from Besishahar and goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great view of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. This magnificent trek leads you to the fine village inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, offering spectacular and majestic view of the white Himalayas. As it continues to the north of the main Himalayan range on to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking.

This trail now from Muktinath is being a rough road and frequently running by jeep, even though trekking is most excited and enjoyable. However, if you feel tired and no more interested to walk then you will have a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.

Jomsom Muktinath Trek

Jomsom Muktinath trek also called Kaligandaki valley trek which is situated in Kaligandaki valley (The river have world’s deepest gorge) area is situated in north of Pokhara and it is in Annapurna region. Jomsom and Muktinath trekking trekkers mostly choose Pokhara flight to Jomsom and trek end in Nayapul, Beni Bazaar or Dhampus Phedi (Surkhet phedi) and drive to Pokhara and next day drive or flight to Kathmandu. If you feel uncomfortable to hike Ghorepani from Nayapul then you will have an option to drive from Pokhara to Beni and to Tatopani and then easy hike to Jomsom. This trip might be suitable for fat and aged people who couldnot walk through steep trial.

If you afraid about high altitude sickness we suggest to begin the Jomsom Muktinath trek from Phedi, Nayapul or Beni Bazaar because if you start trekking from low altitude very less possible to get high altitude problem but in our experiences still no body getting problem even they fly to Jomsom and move for trekking. Jomsom and Muktinath trekking offers some of the most dramatic superb views of the highest and most beautiful mountains in Annapurna region. Jomsom Airport is very small  so there are small Aircraft operates their flight regularly in the morning if weather support them. We suggest to book earlier flight tickets for this sector because at the last minute it is very hard to get flight seats.

Nepalese Army builds the road from Beni bazaar to Muktinath which is also make easy for local people to go Muktinath and come down to Pokhara but still Army making the road so we suggest not to use the road, trek through side trial, even it would be nice to walk through rush road with magnificient views of western himalaya.
