Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrival pick up & transfer to Kathmandu hotel. Evening an exploration tour to Kathmandu durbar square,overnight at kathmandu hotel.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing

    Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa & Patan city, overnight at same hotel.

  • Day 3 Fly to Paro, Thimpu sightseeing

    During your flight to Paro, you will experience breathtaking views of the Himalayan Peaks including sacred Chomolhari and Mt. Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airpoort, you will be picked up by our representative and drive one and half hour to Thimpu. Checking at hotel then a visit to King’s Memorial Stupa built in 1974, Changangkha Lhakhang and the Tashichhodzong, beautiful medieval fortress built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Nawang Namgyal. Evening, explore around Thimpu market. Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu.

  • Day 4 Thimpu Sightseeing

    Morning continue sightseeing in Thimphu. Visit National Library which houses the world’s largest books with ancient Buddhist texts, manuscripts, painting school for traditional thankas. The old herbal medicine in traditional medical institute is still practiced.After luch drive to Punakha crossing Dichula pass at 3100m where you can explore the 108 beautiful chortens built by Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk.While passing, you can have a magnificient view of highest Bhutan peak if the day becomes favourabe.Another city Punakha served as capital until 1955 and still is the home of Chief Abbot in winter months. Punakha Dzong, built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawana who has played a crucial role in religious life of the kingdom.The Dzong was destroyed  by fire & earthquake in 1897 but now fullyrestored in its original shape.Overnight at Pinakha.

  • Day 5 drive to Wangdiphodrand

    After breakfast, drive to Wangdiphodrand – visit Wangdiphodrand Dzong which was built in 1638 and transfer to paro.Sightseeing at Paro after lunch.While on sightseeing, visit Drugyel Dzong, a ruined Fort which once defended from the Tibetan Invasion.This fortress, now a burned shell, was once strategic in Bhutan’s defense against the Tibetan invasion. Another Dzong called Ta built in 17th century for watch tower for Paro Dzong, is turned into national museum in 1967. The museum is furnished with antique thanka paintings, textiles and weapons etc.Tour goes continuously to Rinpung Dzong, constructed in 17th Century to defend valley against Tibetan invaders. The Dzong is now used as administrative centre and home of monastic community. Overnight in Paro.

  • Day 6 Hike to Taktshang Monastery

    Stretch your legs to the famous lair” Taktshang Lhakhang” Clinging to a black rock face, 900m above the valley floor, nestles Taktshang Lhakhang, one of the holiest and the superb site of Bhutan.Taktshang, the tiger’s lair, got its name from the legend of its foundation, when in the 8th century Guru Rimpoche, known as the second Buddha, entered from Tibet flying across the mountains on tigress back. He was on meditation for three months in this site and started his religious cycle of the Kagye to subjugate the Eight categories of Evil Spirits and hence the region converted into Buddhism. A gradual climb to monastry with rhododendron & oak  forest gives an exciting visit which takes nearly 4/5 hours walk from the car park.Overnight at Paro hotel.

  • Day 7 Drive to Paro, fly to Kathmandu.

    After breakfast, drive to Paro international airport and fly to Kathmandu. Our representative will pick you from Kathmandu airport to Hotel.

  • Day 8 Final departure.
