NEPAL: Trekking Permit

Trekking Permit Fees to Restricted Areas :
The Department of Immigration located at Bhrikuti Mandap ( Phone: 4223590, 4222453, 42233681) issues permit for the tourist who intend to trek to any part of the country.

Trekking permit fee for different trekking areas are fixed as follows:

Trek permit for Upper Dolpo & Upper Mustang
USD 500 or equivalent foreign currency for first 10 days and USD 50 per additional extra day.

Trekking in Manaslu Region:
USD 70 for a week and USD 10 per person for extra day during September to November
USD 50 for a week and USD 7 per person for extra day during  December to August

Permit fee for Humla(Simikot-Yari)
USD 50 for a week and USD 7 per person for extra day

Visa fee
Upto 15 days with multiple entry is USD  25
Upto 30 days  with multiple entry is USD 40
Upto 100 days with multiple entry is USD 100

Tourist visa can be extended by paying USD 2 per day.Likewise,multiple entry facility can be obtained only for the extension period by additional USD 20 and visa fee for the extended period.Similarly,tourists can renew their visa by paying USD 3 on the regular visa extension fee.

Note: Trekking to Dolpa, Kanchenjnga, Manaslu and Mustang can be undertaken through registered trekking agencies only.
